Frederick W. Roberts, DO
Dr. Roberts was born and raised in Michigan. After a tour in the US Navy, he attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Deciding to further his education he went to medical school at the University of New England earning his medical degree. After graduation, he did a one-year rotating hospital internship and a three-year residency in Dermatology. He then became board-certified in Dermatology. He opened his practice in 1992 and has been in practice continuously in Lapeer since then.

The focus of his practice is general dermatology. Due to the need for dermatology in the rural areas of the ‘thumb’ of Michigan, Dr. Roberts also offers office hours in Caro, Sandusky and Bad Axe. Roberts Dermatology offers many cosmetic services all performed by licensed professionals under the direction of Dr. Roberts. Dr. Roberts and his family enjoy residing in the Lapeer area and are active in the community serving and supporting various organizations.
