Donna Ward, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing general dermatology to both adults and children as well as cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She has been practicing in Northwest Indiana for over 18 years.
Dr. Ward studied medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where she received the American Medical Women’s Association Award to Female Medical Students of Scholastic Achievement. After receiving her doctorate in medicine, Dr. Ward completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University followed by a residency in Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Ward received a bachelors of science in biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she was also awarded a Howard Hughes Life Sciences Fellowship.
Dr. Ward is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is published in the Journal of Photodermatology, Photoimmunology, and Photomedicine. She has presented at the American Academy of Dermatology poster sessions as well as the Michigan Dermatological Society Meeting. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
