Dr. Amrita Goyal is a medical dermatologist, who is board-certified in dermatology, dermatopathology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Goyal graduated from Harvard College, summa cum laude, and earned her Doctor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, magna cum laude. She completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Minnesota, where she served as a chief resident and received special training in dermato-oncology and rheumatology/dermatology. Prior to joining Pinnacle Dermatology, Dr. Goyal also completed a Dermatopathology fellowship at Harvard.
Dr. Goyal practices all areas of general, medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is particularly passionate about skin cancer prevention, teaching patients about how to best protect their skin, and helping them learn how to identify early signs of skin cancer. She also specializes in the use of systemic medications (including biologics) to treat acne, psoriasis, eczema, and other dermatologic conditions.
Given her training in internal medicine, Dr. Goyal also has a special focus on complex medical dermatology. This includes cutaneous oncology (lymphoma, carcinoma, and melanoma), supportive dermato-oncology (managing side effects of cancer treatment), and rheumatology/dermatology.
