Ashaki Patel, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with advanced fellowship training in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery.

She has extensive experience in lasers and other energy-based devices for skin rejuvenation, scar therapy, injectables including botox and fillers, fat loss treatments, skin tightening, body sculpting, chemical peels, sunscreens and hyperpigmentation.

Dr. Patel grew up in the Hoffman Estates/Schaumburg area before completing her undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University, graduating Magna cum laude with a degree in healthcare management. Dr. Patel received her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and completed her dermatology residency at The Medical College of Wisconsin, serving as chief resident in her final year. Following residency, Dr. Patel was selected to complete a prestigious cosmetic and laser surgery fellowship at the Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital, one of the leading laser and cosmetic centers in the world.

Professionally, she is a member of several associations including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine. She has co-authored several medical publications, is an invited guest speaker, and is frequently used as a clinical expert source for news articles on laser and cosmetic therapies.
