Michelle Bongiorno, MD

Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Michelle Bongiorno practices general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and has been in the field for more than a decade. Most recently she served as a Dermatology Resident, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Bongiorno has a strong record of service to the United States Navy. In addition to serving as a Dermatology Resident at Walter Reed, she has served as the officer in charge at a Battalion Aid Station and has served as the primary care manager for over 500 marines and sailors. As a dermatologist Dr. Bongiorno is a widely published and respected leader in her field in areas including treatment for psoriasis, skin cancer, and acne.

Dr. Bongiorno holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland. She holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine, and she completed her internship and residency at Walter Reed National Medical Center.
